Sachin Tendulkar, brand ambassador of Apollo Tyres, joined the off-roaders in an unmatched and unparalleled motoring experience. The year 2021 has been a year of hope, and the Master Blaster is here- once again to spread the message that ‘bad roads lead to good places’, and they really do!

This year to make the event more thrilling, the platform has expanded its horizons to not only off-roading but also capturing the moments in different locations and virgin lands. Bad Road Buddies Season 2.0 contest, powered by Apollo Apterra tyres, is an online entry contest that is inviting the user to share their videos & images that showcase the best entry. If you are someone who loves adventure and look for ways to beat the city mundane or dream about seeing the most amazing scenery and experience things many people may never even know existed, then Bad Road Buddies 2.0 is for you.

The online contest is as exciting as it sounds, with 5 different themes for you to explore, ‘go the distance’ and share your entries on social channels to win the grand prize. The 5 themes are as follows:

1. Users are urged to share their entries on social channels first, which should include either Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Based on engagement (Likes/Comments/Shares) received on their contest entry, they will be eligible for the next phase, which would be selected by the BRB Panel, i.e., Apollo Tyres management.
2. Entries with top likes or views will be shortlisted and will be placed in front of the Jury panel from Apollo Tyres. These will then be taken and uploaded on the microsite. Secondly, the total number of likes for static images & the total number of views for a video will be the defining metric to calculate & choose the entries.
3. The top 40 selected entries will be uploaded on the ApolloTyres Bad Road Buddies website. Contestants are then urged to spread the word and ask friends & family members to vote for their entry on the website to increase their chances of winning the Grand Prize.
4. The top 10 then will be chosen based on maximum votes, and they will go further to compete for the grand prize and get a chance to off-road and make epic memories in Bad Road Buddies.
